HTV Silicone Rubber

Whats HTV Silicone Rubber? Silicones or polyorganosiloxanes are compounds in which silicon atoms are connected through oxygen atoms and each silicon atom is connected to one or more organic groups such as methyl, vinyl or phenyl. These side structures in HTV-based silicones usually have functional groups with cross-linking capabilities that enable the vulcanization process in a cross-sectional and network manner in the polymer structure.

HTV Silicone rubber or (High Temperature Vulcanization) is a transparent or semi-transparent pasty compound that is non-vulcanized at room temperature of 25 ℃. This class of industrial polysiloxanes generally has a viscosity (Mooney at 25℃) of 20-100 and includes vinyl groups or vinyl with methyl or phenyl at the end or side branches.
