DCBP Paste Peroxide

DCBP peroxide paste is an almost hard white paste consisting of 50% (4,2-dichlorobenzoyl) and desensitized with silicone oil. This diaryl halide peroxide is used as a cross-linking agent for polymers at temperatures above 100°C, especially silicone.

Application of DCBP peroxide

  1. It is used as a cross-linking agent for many synthetic rubbers, including silicone.
  2. DCBP peroxide has the lowest activation temperature and the highest curing speed among commonly used peroxides.
  3. DCBP peroxide is mainly used for extrusion products.
  4. DCBP peroxides are well suited for continuous hot air vulcanization (HAV) in the 160-240°F range because non-carbon compounds containing this peroxide have little tendency to degrade.
  5. DCBP peroxides are a very ideal choice for rapid curing of thin sections.
